In just a few days, Trade Minister Chrystia Freeland will sign Canada on to the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
The TPP is one of Harper's biggest legacies and, incidentally, a massive corporate grab. Among the many disastrous things the deal proposes, it will enable corporations to sue governments for laws that hurt their 'expected' profits. Even though Trade Minister Freeland has pledged to sign the TPP, the deal still needs to be ratified.
